Granby Land Trust in association with the Granby Artists To Present Third Annual Art Show N ovember 6-28, 2008 Beginning on November 6th, the Granby Land Trust -- in partnership with the Granby Artists Association -- will present a juried art show Granby's Natural Waterscapes at J. Vallee Brunelle Fine Art and Framing which features original work (painted, drawn, photographed or 3-D) inspired by a natural water scene in Granby (all works will have to identify the location of the water that inspired them - for example, Mary Edwards Mountain Property pond, Salmon Brook, McLean Game Refuge Trout Pond, etc...). A portion of art sales from the show will benefit the Granby Land Trust. More info and a show prospectus will be available in the near future. Show Title: Granby's Natural Waterscapes
Entry Requirements: Entries must be original two or three-dimensional work, inspired by a Water Scene in Granby, CT.
Walter Hall will be the juror. He is an associate professor at Hartford Art School. He is chairman of the Ceramics Department and heads the Foundations Program at the school. Over $3500 in prize money will be awarded. The Paint Out will take place September 14 th at the Jamie Gamble Property on Loomis St, North Granby. There will be a second Paint Out on September 28th at the McLean Game Refuge Trout Pond.
